Directory of Artist and Musician Newsletters

Artists and musicians are moving away from social media and towards newsletters. This list will help you find and discover these newsletters.
Newsletters are a great way for artists to send out updates, news, and share thoughts with others, but they suffer from the problem of being scattered across different platforms, making them harder to discover in the same way you would discover others on social media.
This list should make it easier for you to discover artists, musicians and their newsletters.

The list is open source and you can add your own or your favourite artists’ newsletter either by opening up a pull request(requires you to write markdown) or by opening an issue here with the name(s) and link(s)(no markdown required).
Recommended newsletter services
If you are an artist and you haven’t already set up a newsletter, here are some recommended services to get you started:
- Brevo - Free for up to 300 emails per day and European with an extensive UI interface.
- Keila - Open source and European. Bit more simple interface but supports Markdown.
- Buttondown Free up to 100 subscribers. Markdown support. Archive and RSS function. US based.
- Kollektiv Email — Danish, collectively owned and operated.
- listmonk - Open source and self-hostable. A very simple service.
